messagedrivendesign® is the process we use to create designs that connect the client to the end-user. Our process begins with an understanding of the organization's vision/mission, considers the culture of the client-organization, and incorporates (supports) their branding. Ultimately, it engages the end-user on their level through our understanding of their culture, family demographics, and proximity (physical and virtual) to the client. messagedrivendesign® is designed to employ the senses of the end-user so that his/her mind, emotions, and will are connected to the design in a memorable way causing him/her to respond to the design in a favorable manner.
Clients often call us to help them with their messaging for an upcoming event or exhibit. When they do, we work with them to facilitate an idea, a theme, a look - that communicates who they are, what they want to accomplish, and more importantly, how to connect with the end-user. What's your story? What do you want to communicate? Is it a trade show exhibit that showcases your product or service? Is it your facility that is in need of redesign? Is it a broadcast set for a specific demographic?
Whether it's one of these, or an event that needs a theme and stage design, messagedrivendesign® can connect you to the end-user in a powerful way.
The acorn sprig above illustrates the messagedrivendesign® process. We begin with the message which comes from the organization's vision/mission and purpose and utilizes existing branding in our structural design. This design is the setting we create for our clients it speaks metaphorically to the organization's vision and supports their branding initiatives. Depending on the project, we also have to utilize media, for example, if the organization's media approach includes broadcasting or video for web cast, our design needs to look good on camera while it supports the organization's and/or end-user's culture. We also know (from years of experience) that people are resistant to change and therefore great care is taken to communicate the changes to an organization that our designs bring. Do they understand why the change is important? Do they understand the change itself? Do they understand their part in the change?
